Miley Ray Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, was brought up by Tish Cyrus Billy Ray Cyrus, and her siblings in Thompson's Station in Tennessee. Miley is the youngest of five brothers and sisters, two of whom are older and a younger sister. The parents of her named her after they hoped that she would attain greatness. Miley is her childhood nickname Smiley. This was due to Smiley's cheerful nature. Her grandfather, a Democratic political figure, Ron Cyrus, was her paternal grandfather. Cyrus first attended Heritage Elementary School in Tennessee. Cyrus, along with her parents, relocated to Toronto Canada at the age of 8 at the age of 8. Their father Billy Ray played a character on the TV show Doc. Cyrus made the decision to start acting around that date. Her father played her in the film, Doc (2001), in the initial part of this movie. The first time she appeared was with her dad in Doc (2001). The year 2005 saw Cyrus got the role of the lead on Hannah Montana, a Disney series Hannah Montana (2006), about a teen leading a double life as an aspiring pop singer. In this case, her father was also in the show with her. This was an instant hit with sold-out tours as well as hit record and deals with merchandise followed. Cyrus became a teen superstar. After the huge success of Hannah Montana (2006), Cyrus made the move to other roles, including the role of Ronnie Miller in The Last Song (2010) as well as Lola in LOL (2012) along with Demi Moore.
